Create POI

The trail manager application will give you access to the POI (Point Of Interest) layer in which you have the ability to create, update or delete POIs.  Follow these steps to create a new Point of Interest in your application:

1) Connect to the Trails Platform and click on "Web Apps" in the main menu;

2) Click and run the Trail Manager;

3) In the map area, zoom at the location of your Point of Interest;

4) Click on the '+' button located on the POI layer on the layer tree;

5) Click on the map where you want to add a POI;

6) Fill the form and click save;

The POI will be displayed with an Icon according to the selected category
